Funny thing is they had no problem profiling by skin color when it comes to airport terrorism. Anyone named Mohammed with brown skin is pulled aside. Same with traffic stop and 'matches the profile' of a robbery - 6 foot and black male? Pulled aside.

Countries that have appropriate gun control do not have disproportionate crime. In fact in many it is the opposite.

Apples and oranges. Do you really think that if you impose some type of massive gun control that the United States is suddenly going to turn into Switzerland or Denmark or New Zealand? Those are wonderful places but they simply don't have to deal with the same underlying issues of criminal behavior that we do.

What about China? If a country with a sixth of the world’s population living in some of the densest urban areas in the world can ban guns, pretty sure we can do it, too. Obviously there will always be some semblance of a black market, but pretty sure impulsive, racist 17 year olds would have to try a hell of a lot harder to murder their neighbors.

I’ve really come to hate our country. Private ownership of fire arms is nothing but destructive and adds nothing. A waste of life, resources, and peace of mind.

We have to change. It just keeps getting worse. We will always have mentally I’ll people; we will always have bad parents; we will always have crime - but we can get rid of all (or most) private ownership of firearms like other countries have.

I’m ready for the police and military to go no-quarter on gun nutters. Give them all 30 days to turn them in. After that, it’s war. No option of surrender. No trial. No prison. Just eliminate them. The police and army should be given free reign to declare total war on anyone with a gun. Offer huge rewards to the public to turn in people keeping guns. Hunt them down and eliminate them. That’s how you fix this.
