If you had to be either Orthodox Jewish or Mormon which would you pick?

not respectful. Read the rules of the forum.

This whole thread is incredibly disrespectful. That doesn't seem to stop anyone, sadly.

Its fun. I grew up with jews and went go college with Mormons.

I’m a former Mormon, and I’d pick Mormon.

But I’m really glad I don’t have to be either.

As a traditional Jew who grew up with both Orthodox Jews and Mormons I say this is not fun at all. It's pretty mean-spirited.

I can’t believe how offensive this discussion is. I’m not even an overly sensitive person, but really.

This game sucks.

Hard agree. I pick running away and joining the circus.

I pick Mormon. They all seem so happy.

You’ll have to give your basement over to the storage of three years’ worth of food and water.

And, if your kid is gay or trans you’ll be shunned. But if that doesn’t bother you then go ahead…

You are a little unclear on some of your facts.

There is a lesbian Mormon group.

I’d be neither. Neither is accepting enough of others and I don’t believe that is what God wanted.

One has to be willing to consider a worldview really different from progressive Protestantism on its own terms. You are just as limited by the conceits of your own culture as any of the traditional religious groups you disdain.

This game is tricky. I could easily live without pork and alcohol, but do enjoy shellfish from time to time. Coffee every single day, however.

- Atheist who was raised Muslim (who drinks occasionally, but could easily quit it permanently with ease. Coffee on the other hand, nope my blood needs it).

Because fundamentalist religions *aren't* offensive to others?! Really?! At least we can have a silly discussion, which is totally off the table in may conservative religions (not jut orthodox Judaism or Mormonism)

Ha! Only in a place like DC would people be offended by a fun game. I don't know how some people walk out their front door in the morning and survive their day.

Is this a fun game for everyone? Really? You think no one you're demonizing is reading this, ever?
