I'm Jewish but not Orthodox. I think I'd pick Mormon because there seems to be a bit more of a culture of fun and Mormons can mix with non Mormons. There are a few Orthodox Jewish women in my neighborhood, and I don't envy them. |
| Mormon for sure. Kosher laws are way too intense for me. You have to be damn organized and disciplined to make that work! I could give up coffee and wear the temple garments. Plus I totally want to know about all the weird secret rituals that happen in the temple. |
| You can watch the temple ceremonies on youtube. |
| Hmmm…yes, I’d agree- Mormon. |

Tough one. Are we talking Orthodox or ultra-orthodox? If the latter, definitely Mormon.
I guess they all have a good sense of community. But what a terrible price you would pay in terms of freedom. |
| Mormon - they seem to be very successful and supportive within their community. Giving up coffee is rough but you can still drink soda. |
| Mormon |
| Mormon! Mormons seem happy and Orthodox Jews seem sad and serious. It also seems like Mormons mix more easily with other people but Orthodox Jews are more separated. |
| Mormon. |
| Mormon. No question. |
| Mormon. Studies have shown they are healthier too. I already don’t drink so I would feel more at home with them than the general public. |

You are asking me to choose between pork and shellfish on one hand, and coffee and alcohol on the other?
This game sucks. |
| I don’t know - Mormons don’t face antisemitism but they do creepy stuff like convert Jews who died in the Holocaust to Mormonism, proselytize, discourage eduction/careers for women; have long histories with racism and LGBT. I would rather be Modern Orthodox. I would rather be Mormon 2.0 than Ultraorthodox. But, I would rather be ultra orthodox than fundamentalist Mormon. Mormons are richer than Jews, though. |
My Mormon friend says she’s a Diet Coke fiend, but it’s decaffeinated and while she looks happy, it makes my die inside. Id make an excellent slacker mormon – or whatever would be the equivalent of cafeteria catholic. I just can’t give up caffeine. Not even for my own planet in the hereafter. |
Oh man...I was all ready to choose Mormon but when you put it that way... I'm allergic to shellfish and just meh on pork...but I need my coffee every morning. |
