Negotiations: Why is Ukraine President saying there could be a 3rd world war?

An attack on Poland would be considered an attack on the Baltics, Czechia and Slovakia. I think that deal is already made regardless of any US or NATO response.

Ask yourselves that, I suggest.
Is it ok that Russia invaded Ukraine? No.
But I can see why Putin did it. He and much of the non-Western world are aware of the insane power imbalance and the monopoly that the U.S. has on grabbing any resources around the world without any repreccusions for their actions.
His goal seems clear to me, to make resources for Russia and undermine the brutal rule that the U.S. has established around the world that prevents his country from becoming economically better positioned.
Sadly, Ukraine and its people are paying for the power grab of Putin's, just as many have suffered when other Empires did the same.
Just the fact that people here think the U.S. must do something shows that the U.S. is aware that its position as the dominant Empire is in danger and must do something about it shows that Putin is right.
The U.S. rules the world with its military and political, and economic power and leaves scraps for the rest.

I doubt China, Japan, S. Korea, Germany, France, England, Australia, Taiwan, etc etc etc would agree with you. All the countries that feel the way you feel are run by kleptocracies. That is why you only have scraps.

The U.S. has no business in Ukraine or in Russia, ( on the surface, meaning us, regular small people have no business in Russia)we are a self-sufficient country if we want to be. But, war is profit, and Murican industrialists who rule our country love profit.
They will kill all of Russians, Ukrainians, and Americans for a buck more.

you have it wrong. Russia has no place in the Ukraine. If Putin would just accept being the extremely wealthy oligarch that he is, thousands of people wouldlnt' have to die.

You are ignorant of basic facts on the matter. Ukraine had its neutrality “in writing ”, it was written in its CONSTITUTION, and that did not stop Russia from invading.

The Ukrainian constitution is not a bilateral peace accord with the enemy, nor is it etched in stone. Don't be so obtuse.

Historically speaking, Russia has more place in Ukraine than the US has in all of Europe. Putin's wealth is a non-issue.

Always look at the money. Always. From whom did he grab all that money?

Ukraine refused to renew the treaty in 2018. The treaty expired in 2019.

The Belovezh accord is not a peace treaty. It declared the dissolution of the USSR. It has nothing to do with the conflict.

Well, by that logic Spain, France and the UK have more place in the American continent than the current US, Canada, Mexico and all the other countries. Turkey has more place in balkans than the EU and Italy and Turkey could pretty much divide back the Middle East and Europe. Being occupied by an empire at some point in time, does not give the said empire “more place” in any independent nation or people.

How does the manner in which Putin acquired his wealth have any bearing on his invasion of Ukraine?

AFTER russia invaded Ukraine in 2014, annexed crimea and occupied part of Ukraine’s territory. Yes, by 2018 pretending that russia is abiding by that treaty was pretty meaningless.

Luckily putin and his cronies grabbed the money from what seems every single sector possible, including the military. A peace agreement just gives them the time they need to stop stealing from the military and rebuild it to wage another invasion either in Ukraine or on a different country.

P.s. this should give the world an insight on extent to which abides by international agreements. Interesting what other agreements is it signatory to that it could unilaterally disregard?
