The Belovezh accord is not a peace treaty. It declared the dissolution of the USSR.  It has nothing to do with the conflict. [/quote]

AFTER russia invaded Ukraine in 2014, annexed crimea and occupied part of Ukraine’s territory. Yes, by 2018 pretending that russia is abiding by that treaty was pretty meaningless.[/quote]

P.s. this should give the world an insight on extent to which abides by international agreements. Interesting what other agreements is it signatory to that it could unilaterally disregard?[/quote]
