Nobody said that never happened. But that was pretty much the one and only pathetic little thing to come out of the right wing's attempt to smear the FBI in retaliation for investigating Trump. And it didn't really change anything. Remember, Manafort, Gates and many others were indicted and convicted.

The emails contain information about Biden's son's foreign business activities. Questionable business activities that make many question if there is corruption here.
Business activities that Joe claims he knew nothing about, yet content on the email proves that statement false.
Around 50 "former intelligence officials" penned a letter saying it was Russian disinformation, a statement which they evidently pulled out of thin air.
Both Joe Biden and Psaki have repeated that lie.
Twitter and others suppressed this story.
These facts, among others, make this a story.

Unfortunately, all he got was probation. Which was a travesty considering how it upended the life of Carter Page and resulted in him not only dishing out quite a bit of $$ in his defense, but the harm caused to his reputation.
Of course, Clinesmith is "one of theirs" so I wasn't expecting a serious punishment.

And, in case you don't know this.... lying is a fireable offense in the FBI. You can do a lot of crap, but if you lie about it, you're gone.

So? He is the president's son. And, when our current president was VP, he clearly used his father's position to benefit from deals with foreign countries.... most of the same countries that are in the news right now. At the very least, it is unethical. The fact that this story was killed by big tech, the Democrats and the media suggest there is even more to it. Was Hunter able to influence policy IRT these countries?
