Two years too late. This was widely reported yet only now does the NYT report to save face when the Wilmington grand jury indicts the son of "big guy".

So, do you think the New York Times is a "rightwing media machine?"

This is coming to light because THEY published an article about the investigation into Hunter

If you've been paying attention to their coverage these last few years, duh.

But I suspect you don't read newspapers.

On the one, we have the son of a president who is being investigated by the President's law enforcement officials.

On the other hand, we have presidential children using their position to fleece the American public of billions of dollars.

Hunter will get whatever he deserves.

How about the Trumps?

No. According to the DCUM "experts," none of this was true. Just Russian disinformation, donchaknow.

And, why is this news?

The emails contain information about Biden's son's foreign business activities. Questionable business activities that make many question if there is corruption here.
Business activities that Joe claims he knew nothing about, yet content on the email proves that statement false.
Around 50 "former intelligence officials" penned a letter saying it was Russian disinformation, a statement which they evidently pulled out of thin air.
Both Joe Biden and Psaki have repeated that lie.
Twitter and others suppressed this story.
These facts, among others, make this a story.

And, why now?
Because this piece came out in the NYT about the investigation:

Hmm.

I'm not going to ask you to do Trump's family members now, because standards are higher than that. But why is this so important now? Is there any reason to think that the sitting president is involved in any way with any of this? Whatever HB did or did not do, whatever he talked about with his dad or whatever, it's not a family business. So why is this a big deal right now?

Yes.
10% for the Big Guy.

Particularly on this issue. The NYT’s Ken Vogel did a whole huge story on the Ukraine mess and completely missed that Giuliani was there to dig up dirt on Biden until Trump tried to blackmail Zelensky.

And, IMO, this is problematic.

Will the investigation be comprehensive? Will it be unbiased?
Will the investigation go in a different direction if the evidence shows it should?

I have my doubts.

And they have completely dropped Trump’s email security violations as a story whereas Mrs. Clinton’s (turns out to have been safe server, suggested by Colin Powell) was above the fold in fifty point font for weeks.

And they keep featuring right wing nutjobs in rural Pennsylvania diners and never once do they identify them as Republicans.

Really?

The same FBI that fabricated evidence to support FISA warrants to use to open the investigation of Trump?

I'm shocked! Shocked, I tell you!

That was just a reach proposed by a hustler who wanted to use the Biden name to get clients. There was no evidence of anything except receiving an email offer that was not acted on. There is nothing there but innuendo.

+1 That BS was from Bobolinski and even Murdoch’s Wall Street Journal didn’t find it credible.

Really, I expect that any politician will hav at least one corrupt relative. The issue is whether the politician then enables that corruption or just ignores the attempts to peddle influence that the person doesn’t have. I mean, if you paid money to obama’s dad or Clinton’s brother (or carter’s brother) for access, you are a fool who deserves to be parted from their money.
On the the other hand, the people paying Jared K apparently did get access. That’s troubling to me.
