Youngkin or McAuliffe

Yep, McAuliffe has to be very desperate if he thinks putting Biden on the stage next to him will help. Biden’s approval numbers have been on a steep decline (the worst since World War II). If you are an Independent voter, I don’t see how Biden helps McAuliffe at all. My guess is that he’s appealing to his base and forgoing the fence-sitters.

This. I voted Biden simply to get DJT out and get someone in who'd look to control the pandemic rather than deny it but I otherwise hate him and his socialism. Does McA think Biden is a selling point? Most people held their noses and voted for Biden, they're weren't excited for Biden as they were for Obama.

This +1,000. As a former Maryland resident, I really wish VA would find its own Larry Hogan.

I'm hoping Larry Hogan makes a presidential run. IDK if there's any speculation on that or not but that's what we need - a true moderate.

He'd win a general maybe - but that guy will never ever ever make it through the Republican primary. Good luck!

Agreed, he won't. But I wouldn't want him to. It has been repulsive watching him to move leftward to position himself for a Senate run.

State house is blue right now, correct? What are the chances that flips? I'm generally a fan of divided government because it keeps progressivism in check.

Hey, at least he had the balls to stand up to Trump. Not many Rs can say that.

Who can even afford to vote for another democrat? Look at how freaking expensive everything has gotten in less than a year since biden became president. Dems are good at two things and only two things: taking money from people who earn it and ruining stuff. I’m voting for youngkin. I can’t afford to vote democrat.

Democrats think they know how to spend *your* money better than you.

Republicans think individuals who earn money can make their own decisions about spending/saving priorities.

That perception went out the door with the 2017 tax bill

Youngkin is a Trump parrot so... how does that not immediately disqualify him from anyone's mind...

Very likely to flip. It’s a slim margin now and Virginia likes to vote for the party opposite the white house. You should assume the House will be Republican.

Love it. Having Ladies Who Lunchkin: group of moms from school going to have lunch and then early vote for Youngkin. We are generally not “lunching” in the middle of the day, but seemed fun to celebrate the opportunity to finally check the absolute absurdity that is ruining our schools!

So much of the past year+ has been like banging one’s head against a cinder block wall. Thrilled to take some useful action!
