It's weird that some people take it personally when anyone criticizes or judges Harry and Meghan. Whether you like it or not, they were a very wealthy and privileged couple who had the rare opportunity of a lifetime of service as a representative of the British state. But they chose to turn their back to that, which is fine if they wanted privacy, and I guess a lifetime of charities wasn't their thing. But to apparently join the bandwagon of err... celebs flying around the world to champion causes including environmentalism and racking up huge carbon footprints and speaking fees at the same time is just the modern version of hypocritical huckstering. Saying one thing while doing the opposite. Shrugs. Of course to you they can do no wrong. |

The sad thing is that they could have had an amazing life as senior royals if they had been willing to work with the Queen and Prince Charles. Now they are like every other celebrity couple chasing the bucks. |

No, they aren’t like every celebrity couple chasing the bucks. A large majority of celebrities are talented and highly accomplished in a profession/trade. These two are people born/married into wealth and privilege who have little to offer other than their family saga. |

Maybe true in the short term. But they would’ve been sidelined when Wills kids came of age just as their cousins were. Not many people are going to put their all into a job where being laid off is only a matter of time... |

Nope. Quite the opposite. They have obviously been welcomed into the super-rich echelons of Hollywood and beyond because of the humanitarian work they've both done in Africa and elsewhere. That shit has a lot of cache in those circles. They haven't abused anyone or done anything deeply unethical. They are going to be more than fine. Good for them. I don't begrudge them a single thing. I do wonder why people like you get so bent out of shape about it tho. Weird. |
