Imagine how many studio heads would be present so Harry could beg for jobs for his wife.

Saving the environment one private jet at a time, woohoo. Apparently he talked about Mexit and Mental Health.

From royalty to novelty act. Shameless.

This.

The people jealous JP Morgan Chase hired them - this is only the beginning. Guess you’re staring to realize that they can bring in $10 million a year easy now right?

I don't know if jealousy is the correct word. More like satisfaction that they were right. And Meghan and Harry's stepping down is mainly driven by greed rather than a desire for service or to do good or even privacy.

This is a form of parasites. Being paid a lot of money for no apparent wisdom but simply because you're an ex-royal. They're not offering any special knowledge or information. It's part of a corrupt system of patronage in its way. At least as working royals they had the virtue of charities and acting as a symbol of the British state. But they no longer have that excuse and their life is just a slightly less vulgar version of the Kardashians.

I don't begrudge them any wealth they may achieve but it's now abundantly clear their claimed reasons for stepping down had far less to do with privacy but more to do with greed and abusing their old royal statuses.

This speech was a year or 2 before she met Harry. So, actually proves that being an ex-royal spouse doesn't necessarily have anything to do with why people hire her to give a speech.

It’s a good 8 minute speech. Have you ever been to a corporate-type luncheon or function with a speaker? This is exactly what you pay for.

that speech was great - but the first half was literally me, me, me, and the second half consisted of the same talking points shes given on multiple occasions (Larry, King, etc...) BUT, that said she is an engaging speaker and if she can use her remarkable self confidence and dramatic speech presentation skills to get women enthusiastic about gender rights that would be a great. sometimes you need someone with a narcissistic streak to inspire

Is that a rash on her chest?

She is very well-spoken.

She got sun burned as she was speaking? Because the red blotches weren’t there when she started.

The JP Morgan Gulfstream, no less. Assuming they were on the new 550, which is supposedly more fuel efficient, it consumed 358 gallons per hour (more if its an older model). So that's only around 1,800 gallons of fuel for the 5 hour flight. One way, that is; it would be 3,580 gallons round trip. Assuming that JP Morgan doesn't keep a Gulfstream in Toronto, and they had to "dead head" the plane to Toronto to pick them up, that would be a grand total of 5,400 gallons of fuel for the trip.

According to EPA, jet fuel emits 21.1 pounds of CO2 per gallon. So that's about 114,000 pounds of CO2. At 2,204.62 pounds per metric ton, that's 52 metric tons of CO2. The carbon footprint of the average American is 21.5 metric tons. So, even if we divide the CO2 between Meghan and Harry, they each produced 120% more carbon than the average American does in a year.

In one trip.

And they're going to continue to lecture us about how climate change is a crisis.

Building a strong foundation for their family.

Life on Vancouver Island: “They both love to be outside and have been loving it there,” says the friend. When they’re not doing yoga or eating in, Harry will pick up sandwiches at a local spot, and Meghan walks her beagle Guy and the couple’s new Labrador. “They are enjoying living a quiet life,” an insider says of the couple. “They go for long walks, they do yoga, and Meghan cooks. They are real homebodies who love to chill out with Archie and the dogs.”

I don't think they are doing the same as William and Kate did. I'll believe it when I see Meghan resuming royal life.

I predict that at some point they will rejoin the royal workforce. Maybe after the queen dies and Charles ascends.

^ Well HARRY will rejoin. He and High-Maintenance Attention Seeker won’t last 5 years.

No. They were offered to present best film award and they declined.
Their appearances will be very carefully orchestrated and not publicly high profile.
They are going to make a shit ton of cash. Yes they are.

That you take pleasure in them making a lot of cash is weird.

They've chosen to give up a life of service to make cold, greedy cash. And that's the sum of it and there's no avoiding it.
