I don't care WHO is supposed to be doing the care, but POOR quality care usually has POOR quality results. Agree? |
As said previously, we have documented,
"The Hell of American Daycare," but nothing yet about the hell of the American SAHM. |
Huh? My kids don't have a nanny. You're done here, you know that, right? |
Wow, so are you saying that a speech impediment must be the result of your caregiver's language skills? Do you even know what you're talking about? FWIW, my cousin had a speech impediment when he was little. My aunt is, of all things, a speech therapist herself., and caught it pretty early. But surely, she did not cause the issue. My DH had one as a kid too- and I can assure you he had a very caring SAHM. You are so ignorant it's frightening. |
You mean they have a heavenly (no doubt) daycare? |
We discussed the "Hell of American Daycare" several pages back. Try to keep up. This term was coined based on low income childcare by a 22 year old daycare provider in Texas. The "Hell of the American SAHM" would be all the moms out there with barely a HS education, who cannot find a job that will even cover the cost of mediocre childcare, and who plop their kids in front of the tv while momma watches her shows. If you want to point out that some outside childcare is of a poor quality then you also need to acknowledge that some SAHMs provide poor quality care. It goes both ways, but this seems to fly right over the heads of certain posters. I guess we know which category of SAHM you fall into if you can't even apply basic reasoning and logic. |

Sorry about my misplaced comment above. |
Nothing annoys me more than when posters assume it's only one other poster they're responding to. There are mulitple people on this thread, some with (gasp) the same POVs! ![]() |
She's "done here"?! And you are...? ![]() |
Really? Nothing annoys you more than the above? You must not have much to worry about in life. Also, I was responding to the one particularly atrocious SAHM who keeps calling everyone sweetie and such while telling us what bad parents we working moms are. She sounds like a real winner. I'm sure her kids love spending all day with her. |
Yeah, it's not that hard to pick out some repeat posters by their opinion, writing style, and catch phrases. But maybe annoyed PP has figured out how to differentiate between ALL the posters and is ticked off that the rest of us have not. ![]() |
Kind of like that insufferable WOHM who referred to everyone as "Darling" and insisted that SAHMs would never work another day in their lives? Yeah, she sounds like a peach to be around too. ![]() |
Nope, I just don't assume that every person I'm responding to is the same exact person I continue responding to. Kind of makes you look foolish...or simple. Actually, both. |
