I found trails of texts and phone calls, but suspect DH communicated in other ways. Emails have been deleted as have text messages but only those on phone bill appear. What are other ways? FB messenger? What's app? What are other modes? This is a long distance AP. DH promises it is over but want to know other ways he could still be communicating?

A different cell phone kept in the car or in the office. A cheap one.
A google phone number. Different email accounts. Checked at work not at home. However, that's not really the issue. You don't trust him and you guys have to work on that. And "he" should be going above and beyond in actions and words to demonstrate his new-found honesty. |
An email account that spouse doesn't know about. A password totally unguessable. Only use it in private browsing.
wickr
Kik or a burner phone app works for me
About 50% of apps out there have some sort of messaging. He could be talking to her on Word with Friends. You may never figure it out unless you have some time to really forensically go through his phone.
WhatsApp and GroupMe to name a couple and ou can't delete messages (at least not from groupme).
I use an old AOL email address that no one in my life bit he has. I use a different browser and erase the history and always sign out. I don't get notifications on my phone. I never check from a shared laptop. My AP uses a secret email. He also uses Whats up app when we are meeting for calls/text. We aren't friends on any social media.
Smoke signals
Telepathy
Smoke signals via social media like Facebook and Twitter? Kinda obvious. |
Chatzy
With today's technology, it's beyond easy to communicate with anyone and not get caught. I'm actually dumbfounded at people in affairs who do get caught. It's like they want to be found out.
A separate phone that never leaves the office. AP cannot get ahold of me outside of work hours, yes I work long hours.
Dead drop.
