You approve of his behavior? Yikes.

I'm not the OP.
Watching this from the side with a kid in a different sport at Hayfield. This seems like a great example of internet outrage vs real life. No many people actually care if Overton stays or goes. No I don't agree with bringing in 15+ players (that will earn a 2 year suspension every time) at one time but I'm not blind enough to not know that most top schools actively recruit. Some recruit in the 6, 7th 8th grade. Some recruit 10th graders transfer portal style. Before anyone can clean up football they need to start with basketball.

The outrage is because Hayfield got a Black coach that created a flamboyant program that was demolishing the other fcps schhools.

Interesting use of the word "flamboyant" considering the rumors that have swirled around about Overton for years.

Congrats to Justin Counts of Madison for winning all-Met coach of the year. He is hands down the best coach in FCPS.

Do you have a link to that text?

Well Aziz might be better, but he isn't coaching this year.

It was 26 players according to VHSL.

My laughing stock kid got into Duke this week. So we're very concerned about what you think.

Laughingstock is one word. Kudos to your kid for getting into Duke in spite of his or her gene puddle.

He's been well-known to spend a lot of time around Dupont. No judgement though, to each their own.

It’s 2025. If he does swing that way, it’s his business and that’s really not relevant to this conversation.

Reid and her team likely excited as this thread is slowly moving down and should move to 2nd page some time during holidays. The hope for it all to just fade away will become real.
