They weren't a real team so its not relevant

They were too real. You should call them Real Deal Hayfield.

Yes. They were real. Real bad or blatant at lying and cheating. If you’re gonna recruit, don’t stack your new public high school team with multiple players from a different public school, where you formerly worked and coached, with players from that team which won the previous two state championships and then pretend they all magically moved into the school district where you where recently hired at and currently coach. Those rosters are public record and can be found easily online for both schools and for both years. Common sense would dictate that most people would have thought this was a bad idea from the start, but common sense seems to be lacking in this situation. Anyway, enjoy fantasy land.

There wouldn’t have been any scandal if the coach was white though.

These feeble little Hayfraud children are in for quite a shock if they ever encounter actual racism.

I guess after getting your bell rung so bad by Riverdale Baptist, this is the best you can come up with. It is pretty sad.

What are you, five? Is this seriously the best you can do? Yet again you make yourself the punchline to a joke. You're really pitiful...

Looks like they're still at it - this quote from Girls Basketball: "The Hawks had capable post players already, but they added another one this season in 6’2″ sophomore Ziyana Williams, a transfer from Mount Vernon. Williams led the balanced Hayfield attack with 16 points, with a lot of her production coming in the fourth quarter."

Deflection, Deflection, Deflection!!! What don't you Hayfield fraud supporters understand? It's not racism on the part of those complaining about Hayfield! Heads will roll come the New Year!!!

That sounds one-off. One of Madison's best girls' basketball players a while back transferred from Langley in her junior year and was immediately allowed to play. Rather different from the obvious recruiting of kids to Hayfield to play football this year.

People don’t want to admit it, but this happens alot. Kids transfer schools to play with their friends, so they can play the position they want, to win a championship, to play for a specific coach, or other sports related reasons.

I guess everyone assumed the girl’s family made the decision to move without being recruited. Madison and Langley both have strong girls’ basketball programs, but Madison won four state championships in a row while Langley typically has come up short in district or regional playoffs.

What’s more interesting is 30+ athletes magically appearing in the Hayfield district in less than a year to play one sport. Sometimes you win. Sometimes you lose. This time you get banned from the playoffs.

It’s interesting how few decent ELA teachers exist within the boundaries of whatever schools Hayfraud students attend.
