New Additions to Leagues Check Up (ECNL & GA)

That would be a complete game changer. Probably closest we could get to one pyramid without PE buying everyone out. Still, highly unlikely to happen.

Tier 1: Indy, Fusz, TH, NEFC, City SC.
Tier 2: Lamo, Galaxy, Jags, HTX.
Tier 3: STA, SDSC, Florida U, Utah Celtic.

Nice evaluation. Unless things have really changed, I don't see NEFC getting accepted. There are already 3-4 other ECNL clubs within an hour's drive. They also have two teams in GA and would lose that perk.

120+ clubs and if these 2 leave the walls are closing in, really?

This is the most realistic, tiered list.

Yeah, if that happens. Also, likely a new top elite level is formed from the top clubs from both. Hunger games probably for the rest.

For fun, you should top tier ECNL that would vie for a new elite league if they gave up on ECNL boys and claimed girls. Let's have some real imagination.

great list. I would add IMG to Tier 2. although they have been struggling a little this year overall, losing them would be a huge perception blow. I don't think it would ever happen but who knows.

STA has already started handing out offers (GA).

ECNL makes millions off the sale of their boys side and only has to focus on the girls side and add any club they want. It’s a win-win for ECNL. Also smart to get a hold of as many elite girls clubs as possible before NWSL tries something.
If anything ECNL works with them and doesn’t have to worry about NWSL buying GA.
