Their facility isn’t enough to get them to tier 2. Maybe tier 4 at best. The younger teams are terrible and would not be at the ECNL level even the lower level. |
No offense but have you seen Orlando city and TBU? It doesn’t take much to be in ECNL either |
word is they are moving ECNL girls dec showcase to florida. only in kc last year cause of women's college cup. I would assume Lakewood. IMG boys in mlsnext so I just don't see img moving but ??? |
what are you smoking? IMG facility is one of the best in the country. you obviously have never been there. |
Walls won’t be closed but the GA being considered a top league would be coming to an end. Especially if ECNL decides to sell off the boys and just become a girls league. |
| STA makes sense... Football Academy who is 15 min away just got into GA. STA or Matchfit can move into the New England conference. |
Yes my daughter played champions cup but much more deserving teams. Tier 4. GA won’t even allow them to participate in champions cup at their own facility. They have to attend the showcase part of it. If ECNL did take them I’m sure IMG likes money and would still rent it out to GA. |
And NEFC has MLSN so they're not leaving that |
| TSJ, STA, CSA |
TH has 4 other ECNL clubs (5 teams) within an hour of its footprint too. TH also has two teams in GA. So if its Tier 1, that leaves Indy, Fusz, and City SC. |
Fine ECNL can have IMG I concede anyone else? I’ll put in a call to Christian. |
Having 1 ECNL girls team is worth giving up 2 GA teams. |
They also have Boys in ECNL. What if they had ECNL, GA |
| But the post said very dominant which is important. Not dominant. So interested to see what is considered “very” dominant. That makes me think 2 teams will be off that Tier1-3 list. |
Agreed. Very dominant means they’ve won consistently over the years. Nationals caliber clubs |
