Bet they are. |
That's the point. BAFTA is also the only patronage event K/W attend every year without fail. I wonder why? They're attracted to the glamour. The glitz. The red carpet. Anne and Phillip were also patrons from the 50s. They certainly didn't attend the British Oscars this often. |
Good for the Queen. You just don’t change years of tradition because the newest member is unhappy. |
William has been BAFTA president for ten years. He is also going to present an award this year. You are silly, pp. https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.harpersbazaar.com/uk/culture/culture-news/amp30654069/duke-and-duchess-of-cambridge-baftas/ |
If H&M show up at the Oscars, they’ll be representing themselves and their brand. |
And if Will and Kate didn’t show up you’d be the first to chastise them for being lazy. Can’t win with the crazies. |
What if your own grandson has been unhappy for years? |
maybe the queen should have written an uplifting message for him on a banana "you're super awesome harry!!!"... ….or maybe he didn't need that because before he met Meghan he seemed to be "thriving"-- setting up Invictus, sentebale, and working hard on causes that were really important to him (like working as a hand at a game preserve in Africa)… he was smiley and jokey with his brother and sister in law, and always happy around the queen. |
Why would they be invited to the Oscars? |
So you admit you were wrong and the Compton headline was racist, but as you were called out on it, you're trying to move the goalposts. Nice move, racist. |
Because the Oscars are BORING. |
DP here. Look, we get it. You think everyone on this thread is a racist, along with most of the British press. WE GET IT!! Must you repeat yourself daily? |
That PP literally asked for headlines, they were provided, she then moved the goalposts. If you don't want reminders of racism, don't ask for them explicitly. |
Long before he met Meghan, he spoke about struggling with his mental health. |
Meghan is nominated for best golddigger in a voiceover role. |
