I don’t think they’ll be poor, but I suspect they won’t be as rich as some of you think. It remains to be seen what they produce for Netflix. I don’t think they’re widely respected or admired but are more of a curiosity. Once the novelty wears off, the deals will slow down/halt. $200M in deals becomes well less than $100M when you factor in taxes, agents, lawyers, etc. If you live in a $20M house, only fly private, have security, nannies, housekeepers, landscapers, personal assistants, wear $75k dresses, etc., it won’t last long. They’re going to have to keep producing to support their current lifestyle and I suspect they’ll be like Edward and Wallis, becoming less popular and less wealthy as time goes on.

I think they’ll sock away enough money while they’re still hot news. If they invest smartly they’ll be set for many generations whether or not they ever work again. And Harry’s hardly going to be a pauper anyways.

IOW, the problem with Meghan is not that she's biracial or Black but that she's American. That she's not British. (Many of us worried about this when they got engaged but thought they knew what they were doing, as they said they did.) And that she has no stick-to-it-iveness, apparently.

I really think a lot of people underestimate the hormonal impact of pregnancy and breastfeeding, and that it can be harder the older you are for your first. I think she and Harry didn't understand that and weren't able to find anyone who could tell them that. I wasn't able to find anyone, myself, and only realized when my baby was a year old. I'm not sure she's realized it yet. But maybe spending a year locked down in California gave her time to realize. If so, she hid it for the interview with Oprah.

No way. Harry is codependent. He’s given up his family, friends, country, basically everything for Meghan. No way would he leave her when he feels he has to “protect” her at all costs.
