| The Dilly in Chantilly! |
Because they can’t develop or keep good players. Or even ID talent. Just watched the B team (former SYA coach) just dominate Dylan’s A team. B team coach obviously went with size speed and game smarts. Dylan went with more footskills and individual playmakers. Two of their players just sit on the on-sides line waiting for a thru ball. There may be some unhappy parent at mid year. Would say half the gold team is not at that level. |
So you are saying size and speed dominated over kids with foot skills who also pass the ball. |
the size and speed actually passed. The footskill kids did not. Ie played like individuals. I was not happy watching the gold team from what I saw. You can’t have kids just sitting for. A thru ball and have no ball movement. I’ll make a bet at least 5-6 kids get swapped by midseason. |
| 2009 boys? The SYA red team was supposed to be good, did Dylan reject some of them for the top "valor" team? |
no our 4 best players left. VDA and Alexandria MLSnext |
You sound like a rookie parent. It sounds like a summer scrimmage with a new team, why wouldn’t you focus on foot skills and test out your playmakers? Going big and fast will win you a scrimmage, congrats. Does not sound like game smarts, sounds like b team coach is just trying to win. |
nope .. I actually coach for loudoun. Dylan did a poor job evaluating. Or was under pressure to keep CYA players. B team has 4-5 kids that belong on gold and vice versa. |
Dill Pickle too busy being a DP |

| Why would a random Loudoun coach be watching a random 2009 boys soccer practice from another club? |
yes why would a person who lives near chantilly HS, who knows some parents on gold team ever watch kids play soccer. |
Lol, a Loudoun coach who is for size and speed and direct play. What a revelation. |
No a Loudoun coach who likes to see team play. Passing is the game. Combine that with Speed and Size. Not having your best player sitting near offsides waiting for a thru ball. That top team is not going to do well in CCL play. And thats without Loudoun and Arlington. |
