Of course they do. I'm a WOHM and even I freely admit this. I'm not sure what kind of fantasy land the rest of you are living in, but you really need to get real. |
Another objective fact? Most childcare providers are not native English speakers. If you want to be taken seriously, admit the truth. It's a nice distraction for you ladies to pounce on someone based on his/her grammar and punctuation, but that's really all it is: a silly diversion to try and change the subject. |
Wow. Are you the moron who was crying "racist" a few posts back over something that clearly wasn't racist in the least? Hypocritical much? |
Yep. She's the moron for sure. |
Who are you even responding to? There are a ton of "PPs" on this thread. And FYI - I've also been both a SAHM and a WOHM (currently) and am not trying to change anyone's mind about anything. But when people say ignorant things, either way, I'm going to speak up |
Notice how people derail when they have nothing of substance to say. Pathetic. |
Thank you. |
I haven't chimed in on that aspect of daycare. You must have me confused with someone else. You're arguing with numerous people. Still having fun? |
This person: Ah, so because your child was in a daycare where the workers spoke English (or did they?), then ALL daycares are full of native English speakers who engage the children in language activities. Gotcha. |
What's your motivation, then? |
Again - you are not speaking to the person you think you're speaking to. Sorry this is proving difficult for you to follow, but you are also "arguing with numerous people". |
Only to call out people who make ridiculous assertions, no matter who they are or what their childcare arrangements are. |
When you quote a thread, then respond to the person directly above your post and say "you", 99.99% of the time you should be referring to the immediate PP. Let's keep up. |
So the ridiculous assertions that working mothers are damaging their children and don't love them enough when they put them in daycare? So we agree! I knew we could find common ground! Sometimes dialogue really does work. Have a great night! |
Agreed. The "nannies who aren't native English speakers are awful for kids" poster and the "I don't speak English well but I hate being judged" poster should team up. |
