Political Discussion
There's an LSAT question embedded in here. |
He's a football jock who potentially suffers from CTE. Is there any wonder that he's not the brightest bulb in the pack? It's truly sad that Alabama voters think that a football coach is the right person to send to Washington to make legislative decisions for all Americans. Unfortunately we are stuck with him for another 3 years. Hopefully Alabama is sufficiently embarrassed by the anti-military jock to vote him out of office in 3 years. The majority of Alabamans want him to stop with the military protests, but he still has a 50% approval rating. Hopefully if he keeps this up, his approval ratings will drop as his constituents realize that he doesn't care what they think. |
Highly doubtful. Over 48 percent of Alabamians voted to send a child rapist to the Senate in 2017, a football coach who shares klanish ideology suffering from CTE is nothing. He will unfortunately win again. |
You're probably right. But one can hope (perhaps in vain). |
| Nobody ever seems to question why republicans suck, at least they never seem to question them to the same degree as they question democrats. So here sits someone literally hamstringing our country and… not a single republican is going to question their cult like support for the gop. We all saw Ma Birmingham upthread (who I bet lives in a much whiter, much wealthier and definitely not actually in Birmingham suburb). Not a thought flutters around in her head. Cult. Cult. Cult. |

It's breathtaking that this is even possible. One deeply stupid football coach from Alabama destroying the chain of command in the military, weakening our national security, and impacting our ability to respond to a very dynamic situation in the Middle East. To hell with Alabama. Is it too late to expel them? We really should let them leave, which is what they wanted all along. |
| Just pointing out that the Tuberville is still single handedly crashing our military readiness - and all with the blessing of the GOP. |
Maybe that’s why Johnson is in Paris?? To see if the French can help us out again? |
No, Johnson, like all the traitor GOPs, has no trouble with what Tuberville is doing. And why would you try to make this France’s issue when the call is coming from inside the house? Oh I know why!
|
I wonder how this is playing out in the local Alabama news |
|
The joke account of Betty Bowers is probably 100% accurate about why this is happening. The GOP’s plan is probably as follows 1) weaken the military right now, all the better to cause a devastating attack on our military abroad, or better yet, here, to be spun in the election year that the Democrats can’t handle security. If you look at the RW vs LW Media thread, you know that the corporate conservative media will happily push this lie and won’t mention Tuberville, at all. 2) have all those nice empty openings in the military so that Project 2025, the GOP’s plan to make America a full authoritarian nightmare, can fill them with right wing extremists who will support a coup. The GOP is trying to destroy America. |

Can republicans remove him from the committee?
Would that help? |
