They say masks doesn’t really help. However it helps those with illness spread their germs. If sick wear a mask or if you think it’s polluted in your area. I have one family who wears a mask i our neighborhood. It’s Strange to all of us but knowing where they are from it’s normal everyday life. |

SEOUL, Feb 25 (Reuters) - One of the cabin crew of Korean Air has tested positive for coronavirus, the airline said on Tuesday, prompting it to shut its office near the Incheon International Airport, where the crew briefing room is located.
This is bad — cabin crew travels on so many flights, walks thru the plane, if flight attendant is handling cups to hand out drinks. |

Worst case, the CDC's performance so far is political manipulation, best case it's simply incompetence due to funding issues. Either way, I wouldn't be surprised if we look like Iran soon. |

The Korean Air cabin crew have been wearing masks in all their flights since last month. But yeah, that’s clearly been shown as not being enough. This is why I was wondering why the entire army base in S.Korea shut down after one lady shopped at the exchange and left. Yet, everyone else is told to just wash their hands and cover their mouth if they cough and go about their life. No precautions against travel other than to China, no precautions about big public gatherings, no one saying hey don’t book that plane ticket where you’ll be in a cabin with recirculated air for multiple hours. No reduced flights from the hotspots in S.Korea, Italy, Iran. And lots of countries still accepting flights without any screening from China. Many of which are countries that Americans are flying to for spring break. Many of us will then be working side by side with or going to school side by side with people who are carrying on with travel and life as usual until the spread is so widespread and uncontainable that the WHO will finally speak up. |
