This actually did make me laugh.

But at the same time, by the looks of Overton, nobody would be able to tell he ever competed at a high level in any sport either. Yet despite the need to cheat to coach, I hear he could play ball back in the day.

Thanks for confirming that his job is so low-paying it isn't an exempt position. So he only makes about $44K a year in the role. Yikes.

I checked the FCPS website and Overton’s position of safety and security specialist is an exempt position and the salary range is $56k - $96k. Also, the Hayfield site shows he is supervising 5 security assistants. If he was just an office assistant in his prior job for PWCS as someone mentioned here, then it looks like he got one hell of a promotion to work for FCPS. Would be interesting to know what his resume looks like to receive such a promotion.

Yes, and they give it to deserving students. The Hayfraud transfers are not remotely deserving. But this is all moot at the OP wasn't referring to the Potomac School.

Just watched that 3 minute statement by Reid at board meeting. Classic politician trying to ameliorate the situation via misdirection - spent 2 minutes claiming she's "responsible" and "buck stops with me" and "I'm responsible for all 40,000 employees success" etc.

Then concluded by saying I only have "1 employee responsible for residency checks".

Net point: if I had more money/employees this wouldn't have happened. Nonsense - no comment at all about how she tried to gaslight the community and claim there was just misinformation... Very insincere.

One employee should be enough. Is it that hard? First, the registrar at the school should be demanding proof of residency. If there is question, move it up the chain. Do we not have social workers who can assist. Teachers who have a sense of things?

At least one person in the department, Krystopher Davis was formerly a Freedom coach, now works in the security office at Hayfield...

That's Apostle Karen's son! He is an assistant Hayfield coach as well.
