This Is Us. Season 3

Love him/his character. I was laughing during the GoT exchange at the VA. His face was too funny when the clerk one-upped him with her GoT knowledge.

Now we have to follow along during all the boring city councilman business. Ugh. I was hoping he'd lose and find something really cool to do.

Yeah, like Randall could sleep in, have a serious discussion with his wife, get the girls up, get everyone showered and ready, and DRIVE TO PHILLY (2 hours away, as we've heard Randall's opponent say frequently throughout the campaign) before church service. One can only assume that the candidates attended the primary church service of the day, which was likely 10 am, at the latest. That means Randall, who was in Philly late the night before, got to sleep in to the ripe old time of, what, 6 am??

I'm one who hates when the thread gets sidetracked into trivial discussions of time/geography, etc., but even I noticed that.

Agree. And in January? I don’t get it.

Was there any explanation for the January date for the election? Seemed so odd.

But I am curious about Nicky, so I'm looking forward to next week.

That's all I could think - why on earth is the election in January? This isn't a special election.

Kate needs to stop giving monologues to people. Nobody cares. I'm glad that guy didn't sell her back the action figures.

I hate the Nicky storyline. I hate all Kate storylines. I'm loving Kevin! His story, his acting and, as always, his looks.

Many churches have multiple services. My church has an 0730 and and 1100 hour service. There’s also an evening service. Very accommodating to different lifestyle schedules.

I just don't get Zoe. "It's over here's your key" and then like 10 seconds later "JK give it back!". I like Kevin more than her which is weird.

I am into seeing more about Beth though. And I'm curious about the Nicky storyline.

I have been a Kate fan, but she's losing me. I just can't resonate. Do either of them have jobs?

I know a bunch of your are going to pick it apart, but I thought last night's was one of the best episodes of the season. How Nicky ruined the entire arc of his life is heartbreaking. I am curious to see where this goes from here.

My DVR cut off the end of last night’s episode. Last thing I saw was old Nick in camper, triplets came back, there was a gun, they took it and Nick said he never got to tell Jack it was an accident. Anything else?

Kevin laid a hand on Nicky's shoulder, and that was it, I think.

How does Kate with no discernible income source outside of an Adele singing telegram every few months afford a last minute flight from Ca to Pa?

Toby works. Don’t know what but he’s a geek so probably does okay.

I agree. I think it was the second-best episode of the entire series, next to “Memphis.” Powerful performances from Nickys young and old.

Also loved this episode. It was more powerful for me than the episode with the fire.
