I’m not going to dig through 10 years of articles for you. Here’s one that popped up right away, and another that explains “vets” and “active duty” aren’t the same. And if you understand how many women and POC are in the service, it shouldn’t surprise you that’s it’s about 50/50 split, just like the rest of the country. Plus, career officers and NCOs are not going to answer the question, so polling is going to be skewed for young people and those who just served for a few years and left.

The military is THE most diverse employer in the country. It was more liberal during the draft years than it is now, but don’t pretend it’s all a bunch of MAGA. Even the people who consider themselves republicans know that Trump is a threat to democracy - unless they’re racist and fascist. He’s definitely NOT a conservative.

OMG! In every clip I heard except one, he was talking about how awful Biden and Obama were and how great he is. Why does he think anyone wants to hear that?! The whining is so, so tiresome.

I find it weird that people like Jocko Willink like him because they preach responsibility and Hegseth is so far from this type of person. I'm sure former Navy Seals though aren't the typical military vet that exists across the armed forces.
