But at great expense of both time, money, and leadership? Not to mention the security risks? |
| Like during/after a possible government shutdown..... same timing? |
Exactly. It's giving (grand) wizard vibes, for sure! |
| This is the Rapture Summit where Hegseth reveals he is War, the third horseman of the apocalypse, and informs staff that this is his Department now. |
| He probably wants to give them a lie detector test. He's mad at all the (very patriotic) leakers. |
| Trump just said something aggressive to Putin. This is such a strong negotiating tactic that Russia will give im without a fight and so generals will no longer be necessary. |
| It has to be something of import. There is tremendous risk in placing that many high level people in one place. |
| This will be the military purge we have all been awaiting. |
You give him way too much credit. |
|
This giant meeting is meant to be an intimidation tactic, from the top executive in the White House to the top military brass. Become vocally MAGA and kiss the ring, or get fired.
There has been an ongoing purge in the higher ranks of the military, as you all know. A disproportionate number of those who were fired are women and minorities. Hegseth et al don't care that it creates a notable security risk. They are blind to any priority except their very shortsighted loyalty to Trump and their implementation of loyalty requirements, not to the nation and the constitution, but to Trump and his minions. |
|
He probably wants to show them all his new makeup.
|
Why couldn’t this meeting be conducted via Signal? |
Isn’t firing a bunch of generals at the same time a major national security risk? |
| Having Trump and Hegseth in charge is a national security risk in and of itself. |
I was thinking of that the other day. Maybe mass arrests of dems on congress for being leftists terrorists rather than rather than executions |
