What makes a woman a catch?

What makes a woman a "catch"?

If you're single or in a shitty relationship, does that mean you're not a catch?

No single answer. Depends on the man.

Other threads on this topic have revealed that it can be broken into two basic groups:

1) Women with pleasant, kind, easy-to-be-with personalities
2) Women who are dynamic and perhaps more "impressive"

Looks are extremely important to men. Not necessarily super model looks, but in shape, well-groomed, etc.

Anger and aggressiveness are not attractive to men.

Well, as an outsider who is closely observing a friend navigating the Match.com world -- as in, hearing it play-by-play --- it seems clear that an over-35 woman is a "catch" if she is

1. thin
2. blonde. very blonde.
and
3. has a well-paid job that is decently impressive on the East Coast.

If you have the above features, and agree to sex w/in a month or so, I have observed that it is perfectly acceptable to -also- be:

1. bored
2. antagonistic
3. insulting
4. borderline alcoholic
5. outwardly unstable

..... and still attract and keep guys. This has been a surprising and sobering lesson on What Guys ACTUALLY Want.

the thin premium is so high only because the overall population is so fucking fat these days. If it was 1950, the 'perfectly acceptable' issues that you list would be much less tolerated.

The blonde thing is overrated. I personally have no time for blondes. Most blondes have thin hair and I just cannot date a woman that has thin hair. Thick dark locks, preferably wavy/curly - yes.

I would substitute #3 with 'interesting job'. i.e. a 35 year old curator or gallery director is way more attractive than a 35 year old junior partner or 'of counsel' ball breaking big law attorney.

If you are single it means you just aren't as slutty as the women in your vicinity. Sluts get dates and rings.
It also means you aren't stupid enough. To have a man you have to be willing to play a little bit dumb and go along with whatever he tells you

If you are in a shitty relationship it means you aren't sexing and playing stupid to the right guys.

Also where a shit ton of makeup.

Slut it up, be dumb, like whatever he likes, and wear makeup, put up with whatever he throws at you, and don't expect honesty. I promise you'll be engaged by the end of 2016 if not married.
