Hayfield Football Coach Fired

I bet that would demolish the current district or division there in and he’s a way better leader motivator than what’s leading TJ now

This is a clear cut case of unethical behavior and they should all be ashamed of themselves.

Maybe you saw some texts I didn’t see. Laughing emoji’s after mentioning some players could declare homeless doesn’t show any violation. Homeless kids are allowed to go to school and they are allowed to play sports.

It’s not funny that kids are homeless, which is why I believed Fritz should be gone.

Yeah that must be it! You’ve clearly got it all figured out. Since that was all there was to it, just one athletic director who thinks homeless kids are funny, what do you think the principals motivation was for pulling the whole team? Surely he wouldn’t want the team to be punished because the athletic director laughs at homeless kids. If anything he should have been more in support of the team for having dealt with that!

Wasn’t the principal’s decision. The superintendent couldn’t handle the pressure and stopped supporting a fcps football team that is being victimized by the system of white supremacy.

She showed her true colors in the end.

Those texts which were BEFORE he was hired would only be SPECULATION, and wouldn’t couldn’t hold up in nobody’s courtroom. Because he “thinks” it could happen doesn’t make it true. Nowhere has it been said that Overton said come here because I am here. I’m sure in his mind he knew folks would try and follow but until I see something come out that says Daryl Overton said go here because that’s where he’ll be it then it’s nothing

As you don’t know that what you wrote means it would hold up in somebody's courtroom, I doubt your legal advice is sound.

Wouldn’t and couldn’t are technically saying same thing genius, now go back read it again and try to come up with something more asanine to say

So you are stereotyping homeless people.

Hey look, someone who doesn't know what the word "stereotyping" means.

Now I will patiently wait for the PP to cut and paste the definition of the word in a feeble attempt at a comeback (or just call me a White supremacist)...

Doubling down on being wrong. This one actually got a chuckle out of me. You don't realize how stupid it makes you look.

It is legal for students to transfer schools when they move to a new school district. It just shouldn’t be for the sole purpose of playing a sport.

The guy is the poster child for the need for better ELA instruction across this country.

Hilarious. We have no evidence he can successfully coach a team that isn't stacked.

It’s legal, yes, that’s no one’s business. But… if the purpose of the move is to play a sport, the governing body of Virginia high school sports says that the student is ineligible to be a participating member of a sport for one whole semester. It is still highly ethically and morally questionable though, even for one, but for 31 it stinks to high heaven.

Oh, that’s amazing news! You’re saying she lied about it being the principal making the call? You should take your proof of that to the reporter who has been working on the story! Vindicate the team, coach and principal with your proof that it was just a single athletic director with a bad sense of humor and a lying super intendant!

Yikes...Hayfraud supporters self-owning themselves yet again and they don't even realize it. This is getting so sad.

No evidence against Overton has to stand up in court. The county can simply not renew his head football coach contract without providing a reason. 100% chance this is what they do. Removes all possibility of a lawsuit from Overton.

Why do that? Overton hasn’t been caught violating any policy and he has proven that he is capable of building a strong program where kids can fulfill their dreams of getting recruited to play division 1 football. He’s everything a high school would want in a coach, aside from being white.

They don’t have grounds to remove him from the security position. And even if they did remove him, not many coaches are going to want to come to a school where they can’t play in the post season for their first season or two.

Hayfields best bet is to stick with Overton, if he’s not so fed up that he himself leaves on his own.

Understanding is if Overton is no longer the coach the ban will get lifted.
Overton is everything a normal administration does not want in a coach. Coaches who put their administrators in jeopardy of losing their jobs are typically not wanted. At Freedom and Hayfield administrators have been fired due to what had gone on within the football program. NO CHANCE HES AROUND NEXT YEAR!!
