I’ve been told only parents of the home team are allowed to attend games IAC games for now.
Hopefully as the season progresses, the IAC Heads will relax standards. |
|
I’m curious how they are going to enforce this.
|
| Pretty sure it's not the IAC dictating the rules on spectators but Montgomery County / DC / VA regulations. |
The Virginia rules are even broader -- now permitting 30% of capacity or 500 people. That said, St. Stephen's has not said anything about allowing any spectators at the game. |
So...I guess the IAC schools are setting protocols around attending games?? Not sure they should be burdened with such a tremendously complex problem...they are busy planning for Summer break... |
| St. John's about to roll. Book it. |

how many times has SJC knocked of Gonzaga in the past 5 years?
maybe once? win your league crown 4 years in a row before you come on here pounding your chest. Gonzaga has always kept it classy. |
I see somebody is living in the past. New sheriff in town now. |
|
Can you remind me who won the WCAC championship in the Spring of 2019.

Two years doesn’t equate to a different era.
You must be young and naive. |
| Are the MIAA schools playing any of the WCAC or even IAC schools, even as friendlies? |
Pre-Covid, Post-Covid. Kids haven't a full HS lacrosse season since 2019. I'm neither young or naive - my comment is facetious relative to folks take HS lacrosse too seriously about how HS teams have played over the past decade, rankings, |
Most of the SJC kids that actually played in that game are still on team. Maybe 1 from GZ is still on team. With TJ Haley and Hawks kids they would have won in 2020. The Prep game was not competitive last year. Too bad for SJC there won’t be another WCAC championship when they likely have the edge. GZ likely has better coaching but SJC is recruiting like crazy. |
