Which summer swim clubs are opening (nova)

Well, if phase 2 only lasted 2 weeks in Rest of VA, then we can hope to go into phase 1 this Friday, and phase 3 by June 24--which is good news for community pools. Right?

I really hope the Great Wolf lodge thing is true, because there is no way to justify keeping little HOA pools closed when Great Freaking Wolf Lodge is open. That place is a germ factory always.

So the owners of GWL were told W-burg would be in Phase 3 by June 16, and Phase 3 is everything is open??? That's the only thing that makes sense.

That's great news! So maybe we can now move past the argument whether doggy paddling is exercise.

Exactly. Now all the HOA pools should be free to get caught up in GWL's wake so to speak.

That wouldn’t even be 2 weeks for them. I’d be happy with it though.

We are in Phase 1 now.

if you are still bored- call them back and ask if they think they can open in compliance with Phase 2 restrictions, or if they are expecting a change?

yeah, it went to a main number so I don't think the person would know what I was talking about.

right.
So we would be in Phase 2 from June 10-June 24
Phase 3 after that.

They seem to plan on being in Phase 2 from June 3-June 17th? You are right, how are they opening on June 16. This is so odd.

I don't want to get my hopes up. I was completely depressed when we stayed in phase zero while Rest of Va started Phase 1.

I just feel so cheered up with the idea that we could be swimming jun 24. or at least july. something.

i will be pissed if rest of va gets to speed through all the phases and we get stuck in phase 2 limbo.

The pessimist in me thinks:
Phase 3. Indoor and outdoor water parks may open. Outdoor non-profit club pools remain open for lap swim and exercise only, 4 per lane for lap swim.

I also wonder if they got an exemption for Phase 2 in which case I’ll be really pi$$ed.

The only thing I'm wondering is, could waterparks be under a different category than the regular pool regulations? Like an amusement park, that happens to be wet?

If water parks are open and HOA pools are limited to lap swimming we will now we have a failed state.
