| Our pool was open all summer with very few restrictions - no masks and the only restriction was capacity of 125. It was great, and guess what? ! Zero cases of Covid. |
Yes but based on the ridiculous guidelines the state sent out you would think it a covid hotspot! Nothing makes sense or is consistent. Wear masks (outside!) to your table but not to walking to get into the pool. |
What pool? Did they do it all summer? Honestly we currently have low incidence rates in our area -- so right now, that is safe. |
+1, another local pool had to close for a few days for “cleaning”:after a reported case from a member. But they had no transmission at the pool. Ours had nothing. |
| We opened May 29 and have moved through the phases as allowed. We still follow restrictions (reservations, ~25% capacity at most), but it has gone smoothly and people seem happy. |
It’s really irritating that we have to wear masks outside and other restrictions but a pool 1/2 mile away doesn’t and no one shut them down and they weren’t overrun by covid. |
