What's nauseating is that a president talking to another president would repeatedly refer to members of his own government as "bad people". (Meaning government as in government of the country).

I don’t know why they’re bothering.
Senate won’t vote to convict. |
There will be cracks. The known facts are enough for the American public to understand. if the reactions to the whistleblower claims are accurate there is no way the GOP will hold on this. Pence is complicit too. Barr, Mulvaney, Giuliani, Pompeo likely have grave liability as well. |
Sasse has now said "there's a there there," and Republicans shouldn't rush to circle the wagons. |

Is that new math? Or just bad math? |
Well I think those senators who are fully aware of this corruption should have to publicly vote to not impeach and live with that |
Sasse said neither democrats nor republicans should get ahead of the facts. |
And a unanimous 421-0 vote to release it. |
A perfectly reasonable response. He also said there is a lot of troubling information in the report. |
Sure, because the Dems are going to be able to pull off an entire impeachment process, vote on it, convince enough GOP to vote for them in the Senate and put the impeachment on the floor for a vote in the Senate in the span of about 10-11 months. Oh yeah, there's still Christmas, New Years, Thanksgiving, plus all of the potential weeks off that the House and Senate won't be in session. Epic disaster for the Dems. And they'll get blamed for tanking the stock market and everyone's 401ks too. |
He might be impeached in the House before the end of September. Or step down before then. This is moving fast. Hold onto your hat. |
