NP. A 65 year old fangirling over Taylor Swift? Now that’s just pathetic. |
Wow. you're quite unhinged. I'm not even a fan of her music but you are not well if you let some celebrity make you this bitter. |
Bob Dylan wrote a lot of breakup songs, but his are much more mature and sophisticated and speak to real emotions of relationships: I Want You; Visions of Johanna, Shelter from the Storm, Tangled up in Blue, Most Likely You go Your Way & I'll go Mine; Queen Jane Approximately; Like a Rolling Stone--the list goes on.
I could say the same about Joni Mitchell, but you get the point. |
Lyrics to my new hit single Saylor Twift She seems angry to be a woman lacking any grace. internal seething anger shows on her face. Eyes like slits Ruby red lips Her music is a note short and easy to replace. |
It’s not just her. It’s that the general quality of life has gone down, and even the entertainment is much worse than it was a generation ago. How can you compare Bruce to Taylor, like PP did? I feel like her massive stardom despite looks or talent is just another symptom of the crumbling of society. That’s what’s bothering me. |
I love everything about her.
- 50 YO woman |
PP is coming off like an unhinged stalker. Her existence truly doesn’t affect you in any way. I promise, she does not need to take up this much space in your head. |
I think she is a total badass- and I’m glad my daughters are into her. 53 year old woman |
You’re the one who is nuts. Writing a few nasty comments about a public figure in a thread that’s supposed to be about how bad and overrated that celebrity is doesn’t qualify as stalker territory. But you know what’s creepy? Being unable to let people who don’t like Taylor Swift discuss how overrated she is without having to step in and tell them they’re crazy, “unhinged stalkers.” Hey, all you Swifties, go and start your own thread about how much you love her and how great she is. Let us “haters” have are our space! It’s mind boggling that you’re all so obsessed that can’t tolerate the existence of a thread against her. |
I am not a fan of her music at all, but this seems a little over the top. |
It is Taylor’s world and we are living in it. Get on board or delete your social media and news accounts. |
Same. I was in the dentist office today and the receptionist, a grandmother, was chatting with me about Christmas gift ideas for her granddaughters and how they are totally into Taylor Swift. And then she goes: “I’m really into Taylor Swift too. I am absolutely loving following her relationship. I just love how tall he is and the way she melts into his arms. The world is so depressing and I need this right now.” I was dying, but I also 100 percent agree. |
I’m glad I don’t have daughters who are into her because she seems petty and a mean girl masking as someone who has “big emotions” and is a “nerd.” The thing is she and her fans only allow people to have “big emotions” if they agree with Taylor swift. If you don’t, the swifties go after reporters and posters and ridicule to no end. Just like Taylor in her songs about her exes. And just like Taylor revenge invited her high school class to the awards ceremony. She is mean. End stop. The rule of free speech and big emotions have to apply to opinions you agree with and those you don’t or it is only censorship. And so Taylor and her fandom are a role model for no young people in this day and agez |
Reading comprehension isn’t your strong point, is it? |
I'm confused, you're saying that she doesn't have looks or talent?? I don't really love her music, but she's objectively very attractive: tall, blonde, long hair, thin but with softness, with this kind of sexy feline smolder thing with the seductive parted lips, perfect skin, and now busty for her frame. And I don't know how you could say someone who is such a prolific storyteller and songwriter isn't talented in some way. |
