Travel Soccer teams around NOVA let's discuss

Given the locations of VDA and FCV, does Reston even make sense geographically, taken account of traffic patterns? Wouldn't Fairfax have been the best location? Seems like beltway area players will just flock to BRYC now.

Maybe they are hoping that players will just go there from other clubs and the teams will be created. I'm sure they aren't banking on Reston's teams to create the teams. No 03 as stated, 04s & 02s aren't even at the top of their age group in NCSL. Is there a link to the announcement? Reston doesn't seem capable of supporting this.

You must be the one not getting it since you just repeated what I stated but trying to act like an A**. As someone else already pointed out but you clearly must not get, not many fields and coaching staff may not be what is expected for VDA.

No...I get it. Do you kow how many fields FCV owns ..ZERO...they own ZERO fields......yet has some of the best kids is NOVA....

my point is....the league platform draws the talent not the club. If FCV didn't have ECNL they wouldn't even exist

Fcv don't have ECNL anymore. They have whatever this is. My daughter is on an FCV ECNL group. We have already reached out to Braddock. In fact 3-4 of our current group have reached out to them.

I just goggled the Reston geographically boundary...Its actually a fantastic location to attract kids from many different areas.

Reston may be weak...but at least the location is good

College coaches don't recruit teams. They recruit players. They only result those who they see playing

Mclean vienna herndon Chantilly Oakton, reston....all look reasonable close to me. Putting a DA that close to Mclean is actually a threat....if or when the DA takes over as the top league.

Ignoring traffick. Everyone will come into mclean or BRYC, not other way. stupid traffic decision. eveybcity you named excpetnresron will want to go to McLean o bryc. that drive is horrible. the evening practice routine needed to involve coming in more.centrally. maybe you get a.few.loudoun players who don't want to go to FCV. That is about it. horrible desperate spirit.

How crazy when you think about it.

Three major local clubs all reject WS and they come back with the backwater Reston and this sh@tty PR approach? Every TD's job just got easier. Unless Spirit is paying like LA Galaxy, no one is coming this year. If they don't hit critical mass and are a big question mark in VA over the next two years, then they made a b@ttload of problems for the DA's shaky start.
