Afraid to get on the scale and be disappointed but after many failed attempts, I seem to be successfully dieting. Clothing feels quite a bit looser and I got my first comment on Friday from a casual acquaintance. For perspective I am not sure of my total weight but would like to lose about 20 and I am muscular so I carry the extra pretty well. So in your experience how much has to come off usually before people notice?
I don't know either--the last time I was really kicking ass and working out regularly and eating very well I felt better and could see that my arms were more toned, etc., but then I saw a photo of myself and just felt so disappointed that instill looked so big. Sigh.
I think 15 or so.
10
5 lbs and I get compliments from everyone. I think it's because it comes off of my face first. I'm close to my ideal body weight though (within 15lbs)
10-15
At least 10 pounds (in my case)
I've gone from 141 to 121 over the last 3.5 months, and the only person who has said anything is my husband.
ill say something: Congratulations! And how did you do it? |
Wow- time to get a few fitted clothing items- you probably are wearing clothes too big and people don't see you under them. Congrats- that's great. I'd love to know how you did it as well. |
I lost 11 pounds and no one noticed. So I guess I need to lose more than 11 pounds for weight loss to be noticeable.
15 lbs. And probably more if you're tall. I'm 5'3 and that's what I have to lose before it's noticeable to anyone other than myself.
At least 10. I'm also 5'3"
This. My face leans out first so 5 lbs does the trick |
I lost 20 pounds and none of my friends said a thing. At first I thought no one noticed, then I realized that it would be super-rude to say something to me. I mean really, would you say to someone else, wow you lost a lot of weight?
