Latest post is about how much of a bloodbath senate could get in 2022 and 2024

It’s really bad.

It does seem bad when you look at the fundamentals. On the other hand, the republicans are (or are likely to) running a bunch of complete clowns in a number of states (GA, OH, PA, WI, AZ), so they may underperform the fundamentals.

I try to feel comfort in that but we have Trump and Marjorie Greene and other complete clowns who the GOP has happily elected so I get worried. Hopefully the Democratic ground game for GOTV is strong and local like the Stacey Abrams model.

Yeah they had amazing fundraising totals for Cal Cunningham and Amy McGrath and Sara Gideon and Beto O’rourke and Jaime Harrison too. They still lost.

If you don’t know there was something hinky about the way the Republicans in those races magically outstripped their polling, sometimes by double digits, you aren’t paying attention.

And it sure looks like people still don’t want the GOP’s specific brand of treason, corruption, pedophilia, misogyny and racism.

So you suggest the elections were fraudulent? Reminds me of one Cheeto Benito’s rantings.

Sure. They managed to outstrip their polling by those margins? Suuuuuure.

you know that an R senate won't seat ANY justices until they have another R, right?

Come on, people - do NOT give these a-holes the keys.

I don’t think a majority of people want to give them the keys. Why do you think the GOP is cheating in a series of new and ever more creative ways? If voting were actually fair in this country, Republicans would never win again. They have no ideas, they just run on identity politics and smearing Democrats. I guess Rick Scott and a few other Republicans running for office have committed to raising taxes on the middle class, so you know that they wouldn’t do jack all about inflation. Hell they’d encourage policies to make it worse.

Every GOP candidate who supported Trump during the first impeachment or who traveled to Moscow for July 4, 2017, should have ads like this against them.

I can't wait for McMullin to primary this chucklef#ck.

He’s running as an independent.

And basically endorsed by the Democrats.

Fingers crossed for Tim Ryan. Hopefully he will appeal as more authentic than VC mogul JD Vance

Kudos to DSCC head Gary Peters for recruiting Ryan, who could have still won his House seat, because he’s the best possible candidate with a chance to take this. Fingers crossed here as well and he’s getting some $ from me, too.

Senate seats are not decided by national elections. Democrats get a majority of votes nationally nearly every cycle, but it is irrelevant because republicans dominate a bunch of very small states that each get two senators.

This is the opening that republicans have given democrats. They are running a bunch of clowns who could lose despite the fundamentals being strongly in your favor. Ohio should be a lock for republicans and it is not.
