Wikler is awesome, one of the few Democrats actively engaged in politics who can go on Twitter and form a clear, declarative sentence that tells the truth of a situation. Thanks for the reminder to donate! |
Anyone read Matt yegledias substzck?
Latest post is about how much of a bloodbath senate could get in 2022 and 2024 It’s really bad. |
It would seem like it, but the problem with this is that the charity has no idea whether that was a $70 one time donation or that they'll get that regularly. Look at it from this perspective. Would you rather have $1000 in the bank but no idea whether you would be getting any money for the next 6 months? Or would you rather have $400 in the bank and know that you'll get $100 every month for the next 6 months? From a planning perspective, it's hard to know how to budget the money. Can you spend more now? Do you have to conserve to cover the low donation months? When are those going to happen? |
Maybe if they spent less time on social welfare and more time on inflation it wouldn’t be. |
Gideon totally misread the room in Maine. Cal Cunningham’s mistake was apologizing. It mAde him look like a beta. It is 2022, if you are caught sleeping with a moderately attractive side piece, own it! The others really had no chance |
I like the color red. |
I’ve lived in every corner of Pa for at least some period of time, and driving through most of it you would 100% think you’re in the rural Midwest. It is culturally alien to the rest of the east coast despite eastern Pa being 90 minutes from the ocean. |
If you don’t know there was something hinky about the way the Republicans in those races magically outstripped their polling, sometimes by double digits, you aren’t paying attention. And it sure looks like people still don’t want the GOP’s specific brand of treason, corruption, pedophilia, misogyny and racism. |
No one wants treason, corruption, pedophilia, misogyny or racism. But they also don't want high gas prices, unaffordable food, spiraling inflation, incredible debt, and a government that does not listen. I personally want to keep Biden as President (yay for a sane, non-racist as POTUS) and introduce a GOP-controlled Senate so we can stop wasting time on social welfare bills which go nowhere and focus on tampering down inflation. |
True. The amount of guns in pa is crazy! And confederate flags…cross the border into Franklin and York county. You think Jefferson Davis is gonna rise up tomorrow. Hershey PA is like a little bubble shielded from this stuff tho in central pa |
You ever hear the quote, “Pennsylvania is Pittsburg on one end, Philadelphia on the other, and Alabama in the middle?” It’s apt. |
Everyone, including you, who casts any votes for GOP anything absolutely wants treason, corruption, pedophilia, misogyny and racism. The GOP wouldn’t be doing jack about any of the kitchen table issues you’re talking about. They’d be doing the same identity politics crap they always do and cutting taxes for the billionaires and businesses. It might help you to notice that the entire world is experiencing inflation. |
If you think a GOP controlled senate is going to cooperate with Biden to try to take care of inflation, I have a bridge to sell you. McConnell's playbook when a Democrat is president, which he has used over and over again, is to stall any progress and try to make everything as bad as possible, and then blame the Democrat in the White House for the results. He's already trying this from his position in the minority and will be able to do it even more effectively if he is majority leader. |
