Dad leaves toddler to die in hot car while he plays games on Play Station

Oh I bet there is so much more. With detailed digital forensics and messaging on video games. I don't think they'll have a hard time getting the conviction on 1st degree murder.

Dude was an antisocial, risk chasing day drinker. Be wary of other parents and carpools.

He was seen on camera in the grocery store and gas station alone, that kid was strapped in the car in the extreme heat for an extended time before she was left in direct sun in the driveway to die a horrific death.

I think a lot of us would be pretty wary of letting our kids carpool with a jobles guy who looked like him tbh. There’s something in the pics and family makeup, you can tell something was kind of off. His own kids were at risk because they had no choice but other moms were definitely not carpooling and playdating with this guy . I bet a lot of their acquaintances are recognizing a strange gut feeling they always had about him right now.

She should be charged too for not interfering.

Has the hospital she works at made any kind of statement?

Is she drug tested at work? She clearly has a screw loose. Remember JD Vance wrote his heroin and pill addicted nurse mom was using his urine to pass her drug tests at her hospital.

Good point. Anesthesiologists, in particular, have daily access to the most addictive drugs.

Right?? He’s allowed to be home with them after these news articles came out saying what the girls told law enforcement? They are in danger!! He needs to be in jail!

The new details somehow actually make this story less horrifying to me.

Like this isn’t something that could just happen to any of us (like the article form years ago where the parents actually forgot).

This guy was makes terrible decisions and his wife knew about it.

Driving 138 mph while drunk with his baby in the car

Pressuring kids to lie to law enforcement

Leaving kids in the car alone dozens of times at least

Leaving them in the car while he went shopping

It truly boggles the mind. But this wasn’t something that just happened randomly.

I can't believe he's out on bail. He is a menace to society and needs to go to jail forever. He could easily kill more people intentionally or recklessly.

one of the articles I read said the 2 yr old was with the dad and they got home shortly after the older kids. So where were they? Who were they with? They didn’t just materialize out of thin air, so obviously they have a nanny or were at camp or something like that. So I wouldn’t just use a blanket statement like the mom didn’t interfere when it’s entirely possible they have a nanny and the dad took the youngest with him anyway, or because the nanny took the older kids somewhere that wasn’t appropriate for the toddler.

The mother should go to jail with her husband. Only reason anyone is giving any benefit of the doubt to her is because she's female and an MD, which are held in high esteem (even if they shouldn't be). We socialize with a lot of MDs and the masses would be shocked how many of them are nuts and degenerates; mental illness, alcoholic, cocaine use, serial cheaters, and fraudsters.

Maybe fifty years ago doctors were salt of the earth humble servants, not anymore. And once you socialize with doctors, they will disclose most of their peers are totally incompetent! It's freaking terrifying. So we're automatically assuming this woman married to this scumbag is some great doctor. She could be just as awful as he is, and enabling at the very least, thus complicit -- and she could be terrible at her job for all we know.

Do we know what kind of car was that in? Had to be something European and a very specific sporty spec. No domestic SUVs or crossovers will go past 100 or so miles an hour, nor will any Acura crossover (which is what the kid died in, right?).

I worked as a nanny for 15 years and worked for many, many doctors, dentists, and surgeons. None of them were the trash humans you’re describing. Some were better than others, but none were addcits. Sounds like you’re hanging around the wrong people.

Sweetie, for one, you were the help, not a peer. And you're posting on a mommy message board and worked decades ago (?), so you were working for baby boomer generation MDs? Re-read what I wrote: "Maybe fifty years ago doctors were salt of the earth humble servants, not anymore."

This toddler's mother is in her mid 30s, she's a millennial generation MD -- not a baby boomer MD -- and she's married to a degenerate loser.

I would bet anything she's incompetent at her job.
