Dad leaves toddler to die in hot car while he plays games on Play Station

Doctor mom knew he had a habit of doing so but continued to leave 3 young kids in his care. The older kids ideally would be removed to be raised by more responsible extended family. Mom is messed up, pleaded for dad to be released. This is a horrible situation and a tragedy that was waiting to happen. When you have kids with a man/child there is no winning. If you divorce, the kids are at even more risk. Video game addiction and distracted putting away groceries and an innocent life was snuffed out. If he had ADD it was not treated. If he was not a responsible caretaker one should have been hired. |

The mother should also be charged based on her texts.
I wonder if this clown was even employed or employable? Sounds like he’s played with fire before leaving her in the car and started to push the limits. That poor baby. I have a 2 year old daughter and this crushed my heart to think about. |

No one working is not gonna work. Hope there are good, decent relatives to raise the girls and that BOTH parents are LOCKED UP. With the mom's negligence per her texts, her medical license should be in question. Some anesthesiologists are druggies, wonder if this pair of stellar parents are? |

Absolutely horrifying. What a piece of crap.
I am not ready to induct the mom based on thqt one text that was clearly sent after they'd found her daughter dead. We have no idea what her knowledge was of his behavior. It must be so hard to be a competent person married to a total idiot with regards to parenting because the instinct is to believe there is a floor to their incompetence as there would be for you. Maybe she is to blame, I don't know. But hard to say without knowing more. I cannot imagine the pain of coming home to discover your baby is dead due to your spouse's selfish stupidity. |

same. Hell, my dogs don’t even go outside above 75 degrees. They’re litter box trained pugs—the heat/cold will kill them. |
