"It makes plenty of sense. I'm surprised it didn't happen sooner." She says he left her in a hot car, too. One time, when he was was working, she had to sit in the car for 4-5 hours. She hadn't eaten all day and is a type one diabetic. She described living with him for 4 years as a nightmare. She tried to commit suicide. CPS got involved and he lost custody. Her mother passed away, and she now lives with a friend's family, not her dad. He also left the other kids in the car for long periods.

The mom made a pretty speech (bond hearing is on YT) and paid $$$ for a good lawyer and that seemed to carry the day. That she is also pressuring the little kids to lie about baby sister's death is unconscionable. It's witness tampering and abusive of grieving young kids who are also in fear for THEIR safety around him. Who would trust her judgement as something as sensitive as an anesthesiologist? Given her behavior, how do they not prosecute Mom, too? There are several messages showing that she knew that he was criminally neglectful of the kids, including specifically that he left them in a hot car alone over and over again, drove drunk with them, and yet she continued to leave them home with him. Now she's defending him? They are both culpable.
