Jogger Chased and Shot

Does anyone know if they can charge the daughter/sister of the murderers who took a picture of Ahmaud's dead body and posted it on social media with a crime? Does it count as desecration of a body if you're disseminating photos? You know...like child porn laws?

(Genuinely asking - please advise)

I think the dumb ass confuses me the most. Was he not aware that what he did was a crime, and the he was equally culpable? Why would he hang himself?? This story is bizarre on all fronts. Weren't people calling him a hero a few weeks back for releasing the tape? Now he's being convicted of murder. Did his conscious get to him, or is he really just that stupid?

His lawyer released it thinking that the story would absolve him and prove to the public he had nothing the do with the shooting. The entire community knew he was there.

Police had the tapes since they arrived on the scene too - he showed it to them while Ahmaud's body was lying on the ground. Since it had been 3 months with no arrests and no furor, he probably thought that meant he was in the clear.

I mean if the police don't think I'd done anything wrong in February, why would they come back after me in May?

So the police had the tapes and still took no action until they were released to the media?

Will this community convict their own kind? I don't know.

Is it possible he was a passerby and started recording? I don’t think he would incriminate himself otherwise. Voluntarily took and Passed lie detector. Now he’s in jail with the other 2. Somehow I fear jailhouse retribution for this guy snitching. The father being former cop and not the shooter will have lighter sentence than son.

This gets sicker by the moment. Welcome to America.

They need to preserve the FB posts

This guy—this murderer—was not even qualified to be a police officer for over 10 years of his employment. He lost his gun and his badge and was only reinstated because (the same covering up) DA interceded and got him a waiver.

https://www.news4jax.com/news/local/2020/05/14/retired-da-investigator-accused-in-arberys-death-missed-critically-important-training/

McMichael, who worked as an investigator in the Brunswick judicial circuit district attorney’s office from 1995 to 2019, lost his power of arrest in January 2006 for failing to complete the required 20 hours of training the previous year, according to personnel records obtained by the Guardian.

He continued to be deficient in his training for the years that followed and didn’t get the waiver required to reinstate his power of arrest authority. Some of the training McMichael lacked included required courses on use of force and firearms.

Wow, good facts
Here is the letter that the District Attorney of Glynn County cited above sent in 2014 on McMichael's behalf to keep his job even though he hadn't passed the requirements.

Not when someone charges at you and tries to take your gun.

You might want to brush up on the law.

Ok so using your logic, someone in southeast D.C. could chase you with a gun and has the right to shoot you if you attempt to grab it after he’s been chasing you with. Sureeeeee Buddy, wink wink

Do you know the difference between first degree murder and second degree murder? How about manslaughter?
