Lol. The collected net worth of the parents of the Prep kids on the field yesterday is A LOT higher. Guess you don’t look at the last names on the roster. And most of those big kids come from Mater Dei. Which explains the size difference. |
Right back at ya. |
. Yes the family bank accounts are quite large for both teams! |
Catholics grow ’em bigger. Irish Catholics have always been tough athletes. Nice hardy Irish stock there (I am Irish Catholic). Plus they are all held back at least one year. |
Not surprising but what is surprising and explains the STAtesm is that the score was 10-8 at the end of 3rdQ. STA has a talented first string that can hang with the best teams around. It’s when that first line starts to tucker our that the start to lose badly. STA has no bench. STA is all about the academics and won’t take dumb jocks so they will never have a deep bench. |
But STA will admit a kid whose Dad will pay his way into Harvard via the fencing program.
|
You dont need that deep a bench in lax. The game is so specialized now. |
It's called recruiting. |
| GP has about 15+ kids on their roster who are already 19. |
Well good, they're going to need those bank accounts to pay their way into the Ivies. |
No. Its called a natural born constituency (Catholic boys, Catholic school) and an acceptable form of cheating (holding boys back). |
Yeah, because STA knew about the whole scheme years before it was put into action...
|
| SSSA vs. Bullis on Friday should be a good one. |
Prep had a bad third quarter, but in the other three quarters of the game they dominated STA. Their first string may be decent, but not sure they "can hang with the best teams around". That is definitely a big exaggeration. Prep was ahead 6-2 after the first quarter and 8-5 at the half. Being down by 3 to 4 goals for most of the game (besides the 3rd quarter) and loosing by 8 goals does not show they can "hang with the best". Sorry. |
Lmao people in this community are such jerks. I'm sending my kids to public school. |
