Yup. |
+100 This is a woman who has never harmed anyone and by all accounts seems to be a good person. The crazy speculation and conspiracy rumors - especially about her cancer - are beyond disgusting. You have wonder what kind of people enjoy the suffering of others, especially a mother of three. Typical DCUM jealous harpies. |
Why on earth hasn’t this lowlife “journalist” been sued yet? Scum of the earth. DP |
It's very normal that people are interested in what is happening and frustrated with the lack of information. I understand why this must be very hard for Kate and her family, and certainly I wish her well and hope she has all the support she needs.
But people are going to talk. They are a public family. She knew that when she married in (though perhaps didn't contemplate this exact situation). It is the reality of being a British royal and scolding people for being interested is honestly weird. This is someone whose wedding was broadcast around the globe, who appeared in the international press hours after giving birth to present her baby to the world. It is the reality of her situation. People are not going to tamp down their interest, and by staying very tight lipped about what is happening, the BRF encourages the rumors and speculation. |
No. Actual adults understand that no news about personal health matters that are squarely none of their concern is just that. |
The conspiracy rumors abound because KP has been bizarrely opaque about the whole thing from the start. I don't personally engage in the conspiracy-mongering, but I work in PR and this is a self-created situation. They essentially created enormous demand for something they could not give, but not getting ahead of the story way back in January. They have tried to address it with drips and a few small cups (like the video she did) but they continue to keep as many details as possible under wraps. Thus the public's interest has never been satisfied, and only grows with time. This is a PR screw up. This is just how it works with a family this high profile. It sucks! I wouldn't want to be in their shoes. Though I do tend to feel a bit worse for the ones who are born into it, especially when they are young. Kate, Diana, Fergie, Meghan, etc. -- they chose it for themselves for some weird reason. |
Curiosity is because they didn’t come out and say “Kate is battling some health issues and We will update the public at an appropriate time for their family.” They would’ve gotten well wishes, positive response, etc., but they have lied, fake photos, even body doubles, pretending to be them. so of course there’s going to be curiosity. This is stranger than fiction. |
Yes, chose this, knowing exactly what happened with Diana. Not only did she choose it, She changed herself, her major, her school, etc. to be the perfect person for William. She did everything she could to be princess. |
Having cancer and going to pleasure island are very different things. And sadly, I've seen more judgment of Kate. |
You can say that but it doesn't change how people are. Even "actual adults." This is just how it is. Even if you are able to scold a few DCUM posters into not posting here about it, it will do nothing to change all the online speculation. The only way to fix it is with an aggressive PR strategy that sufficiently changes the narrative and satisfies interest (while also somehow helping the princess keep her privacy, of course -- that would definitely need to be part of the strategy). I don't get why they haven't come up with something to do this and instead keep stoking interest with announcements like this most recent one. Truly baffling. |
This isn’t about cancer! This is about the BRF in a major PR disaster because they try to manipulate the situation and lie. They got caught. |
You’re here on an entertainment forum. Give me a break. |
Good description of the situation. |
Are you entertained by the troubles of a lady going through cancer treatment? I'm not. |
Yet you keep reading/posting. |
