If things get worse for Jewish people

Anonymous
Because of gun rights America is the safest country on the planet for the Jewish people. They have the right to decide whether and to what level defend themselves. Getting herded onto rail cars ain’t happening in America. Guns in the hands of citizens are the antibodies against genocide.

A meaningless post without any background story or context.

Muslims are the ones that would be doing this to Jewish people not Christians. My very conservative Christian friends are all very pro Israel and if anything they’re against Muslims because they don’t like how they were cheering when Hamas did the original attacks. So Christians outnumber Muslims in this country and then those are the people who are protesting and who would attack the Jewish people. Most non-Muslims support Israel.

Most non-Muslims do not.

Conservatives and Christians are posting all over in support of Israel. Muslims are leading anti Jewish protests. Trump said he would protect Jews and Israel and send Muslim students home that were protesting.

Knowingly false. Protests are Pro-Palestine and have always been. And where are you sending Muslim students home to? Chicago? Houston? LA? GTFO with that racist trolling. You - and people who talk just like you - are responsible for the hate crimes against Arabs and Muslims. No one posts about them here, of course, but Arab, Muslim, S Asian, Latino and all associated POC Americans get harassed all the time because of the bigotry that you are spewing here. You are getting people killed.

I am not anti-Muslim. In fact I think they should have a 2 state solution. I did not say they should be sent home. I would said Trump said that.

In regards to protesters for Palestine being Muslim yes In the pictures I’m seeing on TV and online most were wearing hijabs and appear to be Muslim.

That’s such a lie. There’s some story going around about Jewish people being killed in Paris as well and thankfully it was vetted and that’s not true either. Sounds like someone wants to stoke the fire.

Found an interesting survey from 2019 that gives the level of support then for refusing service to various groups:

Jews: 19%
Black people: 15%
Transgender: 29%

For Jews it was 24% for Republicans and 17% for Democrats.

The hostage pictures are stupid in the first place and are just marketing

The hostages aren’t in Philly! So why put them up in Philly?

I’ve never understood the hostage flyers

I can’t really understand the need some people have to rip them up. Are people who do this just miserable?

I was the OP of the thread about being concerned about suppression/retaliation of pro-palestine speech. There should be zero issue with the hostage posters, clearly the point is to call attention to the fact that there are 200 plus hostages still kidnapped with Hamas. We do not get to choose the speech that we want highlighted or permitted just because it fosters our own personal or political agenda.

+1 We need to humanize the hostage. Dead Palestinians, not so much

Have you seen any posters of dead or missing Palestinian kids? When you see news reports, do you see the kind of background stories on Palestinian kids that you do on the hostages? You see wailing parents carrying a body and that's about it.

People could choose to make posters for Palestinians who have been killed.

It’s telling to me that pro-Palestinian posters do not do that. Instead, they just rip down posters for the hostages.

People have no problem believing it when black people are refused services, but when Jews are it's all lies. Interesting. The Jewish community really supported all this 2020 BLM, anti-racist, practically open border stuff and you'd think it would have bought them at least a tiny bit of goodwill. But nope.

Heck, Jews have participated in social justice movements in this country at disproportionately higher rates for decades. We’ve been way overrepresented in the ACLU, we helped found the NAACP, we were very involved in BLM, etc.

Here’s a survey showing how important social justice is to Jews: https://www.bjpa.org/content/upload/bjpa/c__w/Amos%20Social%20Justice%20Report.pdf

But apparently none of that matters.

What coffee shop? This was illegal. The coffee shop needs to be reported.

But apparently none of that matters.

It's the oppression hierarchy. Leftists have been conditioned to believe white people are bad and we must fight for black/brown people and gays/trans people.

If white people did to Israelis what Hamas did to them at the music festival and Israeli retaliated against white people, the leftists would be in support of Israel. But since black/brown/Muslims did it to them and they are higher in the oppression hierarchy than Jewish people of Israel, the leftists have to support who they believe are most oppressed.

It doesn't matter if the people at the top of the oppression hierarchy are wrong, it just matters that they are at the top of the oppression hierarchy.

White people < Jews, Asians < Muslims < Brown People < Black People < Gay/Trans People
