If things get worse for Jewish people

I'm wondering how bad it's going to get. I live in an area where a lot of people have safe rooms, but we don't have one. We aren't Jewish but have Jewish friends. I'm curious if people are constructing safe rooms and otherwise preparing for the worst.

Between that and the warning to Jews in Brooklyn, that's what gave me pause. If history repeats itself, it will be really quick and too late to call a contractor.

If you live in an area with lots of safe rooms but you dot have one, shouldn’t you be constructing one already so your house is in line with comps/values of others in the area?

No, bc a lot of people are weirded out by potential buyers knowing where the safe room is and prefer to build their own.

In France, my home country, the major evening news reminded their viewership that acts of non-violent antisemitism (graffiti, for example) might get you 1 year of prison, and more for violence. There has been a sharp increase of such incidents, and all Jewish sites are closely guarded by police.

I just hung the biggest mezuzah I could find on our door, and have 3x5’ U.S./Israel flag flying on our front porch. I want to attract exactly the type of people who’d start something. Better they come to us where they’ll be dealt with and made examples of, than to you. I’m ready to defend what’s ours. Vigorously.

Not sure what this means….but the police and FBI are monitoring active, specific threats to kill Jewish students that were posted on Cornell forums today.
