This. When traditional Republicans and swing voters pulled the lever for MAGA, they became MAGA. I don’t care what those kinds of voters think they “want.” If they want closed borders and no deportations, it’s because they are what they are now—MAGA racists. I do NOT want to “put out” for those Billies. We need to do what’s right for migrants. And we need to set an example for Americans. They need to know that there is a party that doesn’t cater to hate in search of votes.

Affluent White liberals have gone down a particular purity path, so looks like the Republicans are going to control the Federal Government for the next decade-plus. But blue states and blue cities may move even further left to compensate. We may see even more trans kids in blue places.
