16 people at a church my ds went to for scouts got COVID from church events last Sunday. We’re back to wearing masks inside but we’ll go anywhere. |
I hope it resolves quickly for you. The heavy phlegm just below the throat is how covid felt for me in late December. I thought it was odd. |
Sorry. I thought maybe it was just allergies since I've been having those and the pollen is worse now, but sadly no. Did you rapid test?
Yes, negative so far. My brother and his family have it right now and no one got a positive rapid until a full three days into symptoms. |
We have literally had the same symptoms in our house. DH and DC both tested negative for Covid. |
Thanks. How long did it last for you? Timing absolutely sucks for us, as my kids spring break is next week, but nothing I can do at this point other than isolate and hope the rest of the family doesn’t get sick. |
Pcr or rapid? I was negative yesterday and positive (twice) on rapid today. |
394 new cases in Virginia today. What a terrifying surge. |
That’s called allergies. |
I have bad allergies and this feels different |
Pp with COVID - that’s how I felt too. Hope you don’t have it! |
Ha give me a break. Move on |
There's alway a jump on Mondays because those include numbers from over the weekend. But by all means, continue to live in terror. |
Tested positive after 3 negative tests (including pcr). Started as several have mentioned with a scratchy throat I initially attributed to allergies. Positive test didn’t come until symptoms became worse (low grade fever, sore throat, body aches, etc). If you are feeling ill assume it’s Covid. I was just starting to let my guard down as I’m young, otherwise healthy, vaccinated and boosted. I’m on day 3 in bed feeling awful, worst sore throat I can recall. |
I don’t get why people test three or four times. Take your negative test and go with it. |
I think PP was being sarcastic. 394 cases in a state with 8.6 million people isn’t very many. |
