Nah, I actually think this is Harry’s plan. He’s long wanted out. His brother has three kids now and doesn’t need a spare. Hopefully, Charlotte and Louis will have an easier time forging their own lives after George has an heir.

I hope the royal family work out a better way to plan for the future of "spares". It seems that Princess Margaret and Prince Andrew struggled - hopefully after this phase, things work out better for Harry.

Anne does a great job. Being royal is effectively her job and she always made clear her kids would have non royal lives. It's worked out well for her. And so far it seems to he working for the Wessexes.

Harry would have always known his life would require a different direction than Will. He could have used Anne as a role model. But it didn't work out that way.

She dosed a great work but was it her choice or is it forced on her. She has always lived under her sisters shadow doing what ever her sister doesn't want to do. Doesn't sound like a great life to me.

Point of clarification - Anne doesn’t have a sister. Did you mean Margaret? Or her mother’s shadow?

I’m happy for them. The concept of royalty of any kind is so archaic and outdated. Britain needs to get with the times.
