Louisville sucks as a coach, he won’t out scheme you, and when he can’t out athlete you he falls apart and he’ll lose it and place blame on kids and assts.

No one "ratted out" anyone. The guy Monty was texting with seemed like he understood Monty was getting himself in deep trouble and was trying to subtly warn him off. This guy probably forwarded the text to a bunch of other coach friends months ago. That's why there were rumors about "homeless" fraud since the summer. The coaches had all seen the text when they met with Reid. She is claiming she never saw it.

Again speculation, whomever had the text waited and for what, this type evidence could hv been presented up front and this debacle doesn’t get this far

Not PP here. There are two types of Hayfield players:pre-Overton and post-Overton. Pre-Overton has a legit beef, and rumors of bullying. Post-Overton participated in the fraud, so nothing for them.

How was the bullying handled? Was it reported? If it was reported, was there an investigation? I know plenty don’t report the incidents.

Didn’t it get addressed allowing them to move to other FCPS. Not saying it was properly investigated cause we see that’s not what FCPS does but something was done.

No good coach would think this. Good coaches beat good teams. Overton did not do this once this season. Good coaches teach their players things like good sportsmanship etc. Overton has never once done this. Good coaches don't cheat. Overton has made a career out of cheating.

He scheduled a Private school this year, NO other coach in this area would do that

He scheduled powerhouse Varina, no FCPS school would do that, so pls spare me

He only has 2 decent teams, he crushed somewhat decent WSHS and lost to RB. So as far as the ntll district is concerned, it’s very weak and that’s why for years Hayfield was playing on borrowed time because beating up on teams in that district really would nvr prepare you for good playoff type teams

Maybe because this is nova public HS football, not Texas, and playing teams from Hyattsville and Henrico isn’t what it should be about?

Just wanted to re-level set that currently, Reid's response to all of the activity over the last couple days is to: double down on her own EMPLOYEE (whoever Tom Horn is) doing a "full investigation" which will no doubt avoid any FCPS criticism and range far afield from this Hayfield debacle and ultimately produce clouded, muddled mess.

Think Dunne & co. need to keep up the pressure that this "internal" investigation is worthless/waste of time and (most critically) will not be objective. And continue to insist that a firm UNRELATED to FCPS do a short, concise yet thorough investigation into the Hayfraud debacle. Only that will give FCPS community some confidence going forward.

In slight fairness, IAs are in short supply so most schools would take anyone breathing who doesn’t have a criminal record to fill that role.

Overton getting a very visible and critical role like S&S Specialist is a far bigger issue.

She isn't just an IA, she is a Learning Disabilities Teacher according to the Hayfield website.

The team mom is a teacher--who knows if she was qualified--and Overon's brother (father of one of the star players) is an IA (who knows if he was qualfiied).
