Kids go to FCPS. My mother has dealt with dyslexia and more or less had to bootstrap herself into the histology field and is set to retire and went through hell. My daughter is struct with the same disability and getting FCPS to put her on a plan is like pulling teeth. And their metrics are ridiculous. The standard deviation from the mean is MASSIVE. So while I'm fighting these battles this lady that repressents my school is sending me emails claiming there's "misinformation" about Hayfield and it turns out it's her arrogant, spiteful surface level ass that's spawning misinfo to save her own ass? She's lost all credibility and has no integrity and having her run this operation further dilutes the school systems claims. From where I set, with her contract (more than what they pay people in NYC), she and her ilk are bilking the county. Needs to be a true leader that can see these ongoing issues.

100% agree. The worst part about all of this is becoming aware the person I trusted to be the voice of reason and truth for FCPS was instead using her position to spread misinformation, while at the same time trying to manipulate me into believing what I was reading from other sources was misinformation. Dr. Reid has completely lost my trust as a parent and educator.

Actually and sadly it’s not. Reid had the texts since coach’s meeting. The 6 other coaches understood that if they played, FCPS would pull out Hayfield. Instead, Reid put out message after message backing Hayfield, blaming VHSL and calling for OTHER schools to be looked at and held accountable. The Edison game played on. Reid never wavered from backing Hayfield- despite all she knew. At the same time the School Board wrote letters to fully support Reid. FCPS approved leave of absence with full benefits to AD and went on record to say it is in ordinary course and for family reasons….

Left to their own, the narrative is and will be exactly above- that this was all one rogue AD. Reid won’t take action against Principal (except to promote) or Asst Superintendent and School Board won’t take action against Reid.

Families need to keep writing School Board members who are backing Reid or the 3 (Dunne etc) will lose again as did this past summer.

So while it should be sarcastic, it’s actually current narrative being pushed by Reid and Board majority.

The AD has nothing left to lose. I hope he flips on all these cucks and shares everything he has.

He has literally fled the country. You cannot make this up.
